Evaluating Skills
If all skills listed are required, then only those technicians matching all the required skills are returned.
If all skills listed are optional, then any technicians (mandatory or preferred) who match one or more skill from the list are returned, and the results are stack ranked by who matched the most skills. The match score for each matched technician in this case will be the value of configuration setting SET077.
If both required and optional skills are configured, only technicians matching at least all the required skills are returned. However, if they also match one or more optional skills, their match % will be relatively high. Technicians matching only optional skills and / or only some (not all) of the required skills are not returned.

If you have any skill match rules configured, all the rules for which the work order qualifies are displayed in the Skills tab of Advanced Search Control Panel. Additionally, you can also add more skills by clicking the Add button in the screen.
