Name: Maximum Cache Size (Kilobytes)
Details: Internal setting to control the maximum cache space to be used by the Dispatch Console. This is used to determine the size of the client-side cache that stores the details of work orders, technicians, teams, and labels and messages. This cache is accessed by the Flex-based Map when the map is launched in a separate window. This cache is the communication mechanism between the main Dispatch Console window and the Map window.

Details: To prevent Dispatch Console users from inadvertently overwriting the user settings deployed by admins / super dispatchers by clicking the Reset to Default Settings button in the Settings menu. The default value ensures backward compatibility and displays the Reset to Default Settings button for all users. Setting it to Super Dispatcher displays the button for Super Dispatchers only and hides it for other users. Setting it to None hides it for all the users.

Name: Weighted value for matching technician’s skill expertise to a work order
Details: This relative weighted value is used to compute the matching score of a technician on skill expertise to a work order. A value of <= 0, disables skill matching and hides the ‘Skills’ tab in the Advanced Technician Search screen in Dispatch Console. The weight value is relative to other matching attributes of ATS, defined in SET078, SET079, and SET080, which reflects the total ATS match score.
