About Work Order Updates on Schedule
When you schedule a new multi-assignment (or remove existing assignment and reassign), the following Work Order fields are updated:
Owner is set to the Salesforce User (if associated) of the technician if the global configuration setting SET009 (Set owner on assignment, Module: Dispatch Management, Submodule: Dispatch Console Flex) value is True. Owner field value is not changed if SET009 value is False.
Service Team is set to the Owner technician's team.
The Locked By DC field is set to True.
Scheduled Date Time set to the Owner technician's identified event's start date time.
Service Duration (in Seconds) is set to the Owner technician's identified event's duration.
If you update existing multi-assignments, the following Work Order fields are updated:
If you change the owner technician, Owner field is updated to the Salesforce User (if associated) of the Owner technician.
If you update the owner's event, Scheduled Date Time and Service Duration (in Minutes) are updated as above.
