About Work Order Updates on Schedule
When you schedule a new multi-assignment (or remove existing assignment and reassign), the following Work Order fields are updated:
• Owner is set to the Salesforce User (if associated) of the technician if the global configuration setting
SET009 (Set owner on assignment, Module: Dispatch Management, Submodule: Dispatch Console Flex) value is True. Owner field value is not changed if
SET009 value is False.
• Service Team is set to the Owner technician's team.
• The Locked By DC field is set to True.
• Scheduled Date Time set to the Owner technician's identified event's start date time.
• Service Duration (in Seconds) is set to the Owner technician's identified event's duration.
If you update existing multi-assignments, the following Work Order fields are updated:
• If you change the owner technician, Owner field is updated to the Salesforce User (if associated) of the Owner technician.
• If you update the owner's event, Scheduled Date Time and Service Duration (in Minutes) are updated as above.
