Property (UPDM - MODAF aliases)
Creation
To create a Property:
• From a
Capability,
Capability Configuration,
Energy,
Materiel,
Organization,
Physical Architecture,
Post,
Resource Artifact,
Role Type,
Service Access or
Software: right-click the element, point to New, point to MODAF, and then click Property.
On the Select Type dialog, create or select the type of the Property, or create an untyped Property.

• From an
SV-1 Resource Definition: click the
Property toolbar button, and then click the owning
Capability,
Capability Configuration,
Energy,
Materiel,

Resource Artifact,
Role Type,
Service Access or
Software element.
On the Select Type dialog, create or select the type of the Property, or create an untyped Property.
Appearance
When shown on a valid diagram (see below), a Property appears similar to as follows:

There are no relationships that are of significant importance to a Property.
