Atomic state (operational) (UPDM - DoDAF aliases)
An Atomic State (Operational) is a proprietary element that is required to model UPDM in Modeler.
Creation
To create an Atomic State (Operational):
From a State Description (Operational): right-click the State Description (Operational), point to New, point to DoDAF, and then click Atomic State (Operational).
From an OV-6b Operational State Transition Description: click the Atomic State (Operational) toolbar button, and then click in free space on the diagram.

UML Transitions link an Atomic State (Operational) to other State Diagram elements (OV-6b Operational State Transition Description).
Operation (Operational) elements can be invoked by an Atomic State (Operational): right-click the Atomic State (Operational), point to Links, and then click Do Node Operation.
