Enterprise phase (UPDM - DoDAF aliases)
Creation
To create an Enterprise Phase:
From an Architectural Description or Service Description: right-click the Architectural Description or Service Description, point to New, point to DoDAF, point to Capability, and then click Enterprise Phase.
From a CV-1 Vision: click the Enterprise Phase toolbar button, and then click in free space on the diagram.
You can convert an Enterprise Phase to a Whole Life Enterprise: right-click the Enterprise Phase, point to Convert To, and then click Whole Life Enterprise.

When shown on a CV-1 Vision, an Enterprise Phase appears as follows:
