Capability of performer (UPDM - DoDAF aliases)
Creation
To create a Capability Of Performer:
From an OV-2 Operational Resource Definition, OV-4 Typical Organizational Relationships Chart, CV-1 Vision, SV-1 Systems Interface Definition, or SV-5 Function to Operational Activity/Service Function Definition: click the Capability Of Performer toolbar button, click the source element, and then click the exhibited Capability.
On an OV-2 Operational Resource Definition, the source element can be a Performer (Operational), Operational Context, or Security Domain.
On an OV-4 Typical Organizational Relationships Chart, the source element can be an Organization Type, Person Role Type, or Responsibility.
On a CV-1 Vision, the source element can be an Enterprise Phase or Whole Life Enterprise.
On an SV-1 Systems Interface Definition, the source element can be a Performer (System), Organization Type, System Context, Person Role Type, System, Responsibility, Service Access, or Software element.
On an SV-5 Function to Operational Activity/Service Function Definition, the source element can be a Performer (System), Performer (Operational), Organization Type, System Context, Person Role Type, System, Responsibility, Service Access, or Software element.
From a source element: right-click the source element, point to Links, point to Capability, and then click Exhibited Capability. On the Links Editor dialog, select the destination Capability elements.
The source element can be a Performer (System), Enterprise Phase, Operational Context, Performer (Operational), Organization Type, Organization Type, System Context, Person Role Type, Person Role Type, System, Responsibility, Responsibility, Security Domain, Service Access, Software, or Whole Life Enterprise.
From a Capability: right-click the Capability, point to Links, point to Capability, and then click Exhibiting Element. On the Links Editor dialog, select the source elements.
Appearance
When shown on an OV-2 Operational Resource Definition, OV-2 Operational Resource Definition, CV-1 Vision, SV-1 Systems Interface Definition, or SV-5 Function to Operational Activity/Service Function Definition, a Capability Of Performer element appears as follows:
