Customizing the default values of a Publisher style's formatting parameters (Publisher)
A Document Definition allows you to set the values of Formatting Parameters for the Publisher Style that is selected in the Generate pane, such as, the paper size.
The default value of each Formatting Parameter can be defined in the Publisher Style through the Style's docbookparams.xsl file.
Important: We recommend that you do not customize the default values of formatting parameters of the provided Publisher Styles, but instead create a new Publisher Style and make the changes to that.
To specify the default values of a Publisher Style's formatting parameters:
1. Locate the docbookparams.xsl file for the Publisher Style:
a. The Publisher Style folders reside in subfolders of the following folder.
C:\ProgramData\PTC Integrity Modeler\Publisher\Stylesheets\DocumentGeneration\CustomDocBook
b. In the folder for the Publisher Style, locate the docbookparams.xsl file that resides in the following folder:
<Publisher Style folder>\Word\Current
2. Using a text editor such as Notepad, open the docbookparams.xsl file.
3. For each custom parameter that appears in the Document Properties dialog, you can specify the default value through the entry that sets the default value.
4. Save the changes you have made.
