To Move or Resize an Inset
1. Select the inset to move or resize using one of these methods:
In the upper data panel, in the View Content pane, select the Inset.
In the figure window, point to the leader or focus (if shown), or, point to the inset image border. When the pointer changes to an inset editing pointer, select the inset.
*
Clicking inside the inset image does not select the inset. You can, however, click objects inside the inset image to select them in the figure. (See Viewing and Selecting Objects in an Inset.)
After you select the inset, drag handles appear on the corners of the inset image border.
2. To move or resize the focus, you must first unlock it. Use either unlock method below.
In the ribbon, click Inset > Unlock Focus.
In the figure window, right-click the selected inset and choose Unlock Focus from the shortcut menu.
3. To move the selected focus or inset image, perform the actions below:
a. Place the pointer inside the focus border or on the inset image border. Do not place the pointer on a corner drag handle.
b. When the pointer changes to a move pointer, drag the focus or the inset image to a new location. The inset image changes to show the new focus region.
4. To resize the selected focus or inset image, drag a corner handle on the inset border or the focus border.
a. Change the focus size to show more or less content in the inset image.
b. Change the inset image size to increase or decrease the magnification.
5. In the figure window, deselect the inset. Depending on its appearance settings, the focus might or might not be visible.
