Installing Creo+
Introduction
As a Creo+ user, you install Creo+ on your computer or on a virtual machine using a cloud based service like Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). To install Creo+, you must first download and install the PTC Control Center from the Creo+ Portal. The PTC Control Center installs Creo+ on your computer and maintains a connection between the Creo+ Portal and the local installation of Creo+. To run Creo+ you require a License to Run. Based on roles in an organization, users are grouped together in a profile. A profile has configuration settings for Creo+ that are specific to the group of users performing a role, and a set of floating licenses for the required applications.
Before You Begin
Before you install Creo+ on your computer you must ensure the following prerequisites:
An Administrator has sent you an invitation to the Creo+ Portal—https://creo.portal.ptc.com/creoplus/.
An Administrator has assigned you a License to Run for Creo+.
An Administrator has added you as a member of a profile based on your role in the organization.
The computer that you install Creo+ on, meets the required hardware and software specifications.
