Prerequisites for Installing Creo+
As a user, you download and install the PTC Control Center that installs Creo+ on your computer. The Administrator must first do the following:
Send you an invite to the Creo+ portal.
Assign you a License to Run from the purchased licenses to run for the organization.
Add you to a profile.
Additionally, you require a computer with the following minimum hardware requirements:
RAM—32 GB or higher
Graphics Card—Graphics cards that support at least OpenGL 4.0
Disk space—8 GB or higher disk memory. Creo+ is installed at the following location so ensure a minimum free space of 8 GB on the home drive:
<driveletter>:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Programs\PTC\Creo\CreoPlus_<Verion_number>-build.<build number>
Monitor—1280 x 1024 (or higher) resolution support with 24-bit or greater color support
Your computer must also meet the following software requirements:
Operating Systems—Windows 11 64-bit, Windows Server 2016, 2019
Browser—Internet Explorer 9.0 and later, Mozilla Firefox 10.0.1, Google Chrome 90.0 or later
Java Version—Version 25 or later
Microsoft VC++ 2022 latest redistributable package—Download and install it from the Microsoft site—https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe
In order to run Creo Ansys Simulation you must have the latest 8.0.x version for the following Microsoft .NET packages for the Windows x64 installer installed on your computer:
Microsoft .NET Runtime 8.0.x for Windows x64.
Download and install these packages, start Creo again and then open Creo Ansys Simulation.
In order to run Engineering Notebook you must have the latest Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime 8.0.x package for Windows x64 installed on your computer.
Download and install the package and restart Engineering Notebook.
