Creo Elements/Direct Part Library overview
Creo Elements/Direct Part Library adds unmatched convenience to your design work. You can
• Load hundreds of standard DIN, DIN-EN, ANSI, and JIS parts. See Load a library part.
• Create and modify multiple screw connections complete with drilled holes and accessories (nuts, washers, etc.) in one step. See Creo Elements/Direct Part Library screw connections.
• Assign a materials to parts loaded from Creo Elements/Direct Part Library or parts you create without Creo Elements/Direct Part Library. See Creo Elements/Direct Part Library materials.
• Drill holes through one or more parts. See Creo Elements/Direct Part Library drilled holes.
• Add threads and undercuts to cylindrical faces. See Creo Elements/Direct Part Library threads.
• Create a feather key and groove in one step. See Add a key and hub.
• Add your own parts to the library, as complete 3D models or parametric parts with several available dimensions. See Add a library part or assembly and Add a parametric part.

Creo Elements/Direct Part Library supports Model Manager 2006 or higher and is fully compatible with the entire 2007 CoCreate Suite.

You must have a separate license to use Creo Elements/Direct Part Library. Please contact your Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC) sales representative to obtain a license.
To install Creo Elements/Direct Part Library,
1. Insert the Creo Elements/Direct Suite DVD.
2. Select Modeling and Drafting, including 3D Access and 2D Access.
3. Select Part Library under Creo Elements/Direct 3D CAD in the Select Features step.
4. Complete the installation as normal.

To activate Part Library from Creo Elements/DirectModel Manager NetBeans development environment, you must copy the tsmmcatalog.jar file located in C:\Program Files\Creo Elements\Direct Manager Server 17.0\jar to the jar directory in your development environment.
