To Create a Multiline Search Query
1. Follow one of these procedures:
To Search for an ECAD Object by ID, Name, Type, or Reference Designator—Steps 1–8
To Search for an ECAD Object by Attribute—Steps 1–11

To Search for MCAD Attributes—Steps 1–7

The first search rule is defined.
2. Select the Show Multi-line check box. The dialog box expands.
3. Click Add Line. By default, and is added to the first line, and the first line is duplicated.
4. Select the duplicated line, and then define the second rule. The line is updated.
5. To change the combination of the rules, select any line in the list, and then click And or Or.
6. Click Apply or OK:
The results appear in the ECAD Results or the Results tab in the upper data panel.
A named query is saved.
If you click OK, the Search ECAD Design dialog box closes.
7. To reset the query, click Reset. The query resets to the most recent of these states:
