Windchill Integration (Enterprise Edition Only)
Integrating the Enterprise Edition of Windchill Risk and Reliability with Windchill requires one or more Windchill integration licenses. Your system administrator sets up a connection for Windchill version 8.0 or later in the desktop version of the Administrator application. If you have the proper license and permission, you can perform integration tasks.
You can create Projects and System files from BOMs (bills of materials) in Windchill PDMLink or Windchill MPMLink. You can then perform analyses on the imported Windchill part data. This requires a Windchill integration license for BOM-based quality analysis and validation.
You can associate the Windchill global attributes brought in from a Windchill BOM with FMEA DVPs (design verification plans) and control plans to create many-to-many relationships. This requires two Windchill integration licenses: one for BOM-based quality analysis and validation and another for CTQ (critical to quality) characteristic management.
You can create Windchill change objects from problems in Windchill Risk and Reliability. This requires a Windchill license for quality-driven change management. Additionally, Windchill connection settings must be for Windchill 10.0 M020 or later.
