Modifying Windchill BOM Settings

When a System file contains Windchill parts, you can view and modify the Windchill end item that was selected as the top-level item for the system tree.

1. If the System Tree Items table is not active, select it.

2. Select Windchill Edit Settings.

If the Windchill Login window appears, enter your Windchill user name and password and click Log in.

The Edit Windchill Settings Wizard starts and displays the Select Saved Expansion Criteria page.

This page and the subsequent pages are the same as those shown during the creation of a Project or additional System file from a Windchill product. For more information, see Creating a Project or Additional System File from a Windchill Product.

3. Complete the pages shown, clicking Finish when you reach the Wizard Complete page.

A window opens, indicating that the new settings have been saved and will be used during the next synchronization.

4. Click OK.
