‘Filter by’ Commands for FMEA Control Plan and DVP Tables
By default, the FMEA Control Plans table and FMEA DVPs table display all records inserted in these tables. However, you can use Filter by commands to limit the records shown. The following commands appear on both the Filter menu and the shortcut menu for the table:
Filter by FMEA Tree Item Selection. When this command is selected, the table displays only the records that are associated with the active FMEA Tree Items record. This command uses the singular name assigned to the FMEA Tree Items table in the Project properties. It is available when the FMEA Control Plans or FMEA DVPs table is active. It is also available when the FMEA Worksheet table is active.
Filter by FMEA Worksheet Selection. When this command is selected, the table displays only the records that are associated with active failure mode cause in the FMEA Worksheet table. This command uses the singular name assigned to the FMEA Worksheet table in the Project properties. It is available when the FMEA Control Plans or FMEA DVPs table is active.
Filter by Attribute Selection. When this command is selected, the table displays only the records that are associated with the active attribute in the Global Attributes table. This command is available when the FMEA Control Plans or FMEA DVPs table is active only if the Global Attributes table is present in the System file. It is mutually exclusive with the other two Filter by commands. For more information, see Managing Global Attribute Data.
By default, none of the above commands are selected, which means that they are turned off. If both the first and second of the above commands are selected, the table displays only the records that meet the record selection criteria for both commands. For more information, see ‘Filter by’ Commands.

It is possible that your system administrator has granted you access to only the records that you insert in a table. For more information, see User Level Filtering (Enterprise Edition Only).
