Creating a File from the Project Navigator
In the Project Navigator, the Create new file command is always available in the Navigator Tasks pane. Clicking this command opens the Create File window.

If the file to create is a System file, you should license all modules that you want to include in this file prior to beginning the creation process. For more information, see Changing the Modules Licensed for a Session.
1. To open the Create File window from the Project Navigator, do one of the following:
In the Navigator Tasks pane, click Create new file.
Right-click in any empty area of the Projects pane and select Create File.
2. Complete this window. For more information, see Create File Window.
3. When finished, click OK to create and open the file. If you are creating a singular support, Table Format, Form Design, or Report Design file, you must first complete an additional window. For more information, see:
