Table Type Selection
A Table Format file defines the data fields to include in a table, and a Form Design file defines the format and layout for a data entry form for a table. When you create a Table Format or Form Design file, a window opens for selecting the table type. The table types listed depend on the modules in use and the tables shown in the System file. In this window, you select the type of table that the Table Format or Form Design file is to configure and click OK. Once the file is created, you configure it. For more information, see:

In the Project properties, General > Simplify file inputs controls whether you can create multiple Table Format files per table type and create multiple Form Set files. In a newly created Project, this checkbox is selected, which means that you can have only one Table Format file per table type and one Form Set file. Before clearing this checkbox, you should fully comprehend how to manually configure multiple occurrences of these files if you want to have different System file views.
