Slack Triggers
Use Slack events to set a trigger for workflow execution. To create an event for Slack, complete the following steps:
1. Place the pointer on the start icon , and then click or double-click . A list of triggers appears.
2. Select Slack. In the trigger configuration window, do one of the following:
If a trigger is already created, select an existing trigger, and then click SAVE.
To create a new trigger, click Create a new event for Slack, and then proceed with the following steps.
3. Edit the Trigger Label, if needed.
4. To add a Slack connector type, refer to Supported Slack Connector Types.
If you previously added a connector type, select the appropriate Connector Type, and under Connector Name, select the connector.
5. Click TEST to validate the connector.
6. In the Select Trigger list, select an event, and perform its respective task:

New Public Channel—New public channel is created.

New Private Channel—New private channel is created.

New Message in Public Channel—New message is sent in the public channel.
In the Channel ID list, select or specify the public channel ID for which you want to set the trigger.
New Message in Public Channel from User—New message is sent in the public channel from a user.
In the Channel ID list, select or specify the public channel ID for which you want to set the trigger.
New Message in Private Channel—New message is sent in the private channel.
In the Channel ID list, select or specify the public channel ID for which you want to set the trigger.
New Message in Private Channel from User—New message is sent in the private channel from a user.
In the Channel ID list, select or specify the public channel ID for which you want to set the trigger.
7. Under the Custom Filters section, click ADD, and then do the following:
a. Map the appropriate fields from the Trigger Data section to the Input field.
b. Select an appropriate value in the Condition list.
c. Set a value in the Expected field.
Click Add to add multiple custom filters. Click to delete any custom filter that you added.

8. Click SAVE.
