Supported Slack Connector Types
Add a Slack connector to authorize ThingWorx Flow to execute Slack actions. ThingWorx Flow supports the following connector types for Slack:
OAuth
OAuth (Named User)
OAuth (Session User)
*
Before you create a Slack OAuth connector, ensure that you load Slack OAuths to the ThingWorx Flow server.
Adding an OAuth connector
1. Drag any action under Slack to the canvas, place the pointer on the action, and then click or double-click the action.
2. For Connector Type, select OAuth (Named User) or OAuth (Session User).
3. In the Slack list, select Add new Slack login – Named User or Add new Slack login – Session User.
*
If you have not loaded Slack OAuths to the ThingWorx Flow server, this option is not available.
4. Provide your user name and password to log in to the Slack workspace.
5. Review access permissions, and click Allow.
6. Edit the Connector Label, if you want. Labels are case-sensitive. Do not use spaces, special characters, and leading numbers.
7. Click ADD to add the Slack OAuth connector.
