To begin the integration process, you prepare the Salesforce environment. You can use a ServiceMax sales demo org for testing, or a customer-provided org. After you register and review the target Salesforce org, you upgrade the ServiceMax version. You then file a support request to have a Service Board tenant instance provisioned.

This guide provides Service Board integration steps only for Salesforce orgs that do not have a previous Service Board deployment. To configure initial sync, the integration user must have a ServiceMax license.
