Filtering Jobs in the Scheduler Map Panel
On the Scheduler Tab, you can draw shapes on the Map Panel to filter Jobs located within a specific area. After you filter Jobs on the Map Panel, they appear in the Job List, from which you can then dispatch, reassign, and reschedule Jobs and generate Schedule Proposals. You can open the Map Panel and filter Jobs before or after you enter Planning Mode, which fully supports Map-based filtering.
To filter Jobs in the Scheduler Map Panel:
1. Click Scheduler Tab > Expand Map Panel > Show Job Filter for Map, and then in the top left corner, click Draw Polygonor Draw Circle.
2. Draw a shape around the area on the Map Panel within which you want to filter Jobs.
*
You can add only one shape to the Map Panel at a time. After you add a shape to the map, the Draw Polygon and Draw Circle tools become unavailable, so you cannot adjust the boundaries of the shape. You can click Clear Shape to remove the shapes you draw and start over again.
3. If needed, to exit Map Job Filters, after filtering is complete, in the Calendar, in the top left corner. click Reset Job List.
*
Because Map-based Job filtering is based on Job geocodes and geospatial data shapes, at times Jobs that are grouped with other Jobs or Resource pins are not queried when Map filters are applied, even though they appear within drawn shapes. At other times, Jobs that are grouped with other Jobs do not appear within drawn shapes, but are queried because their geocodes are within the shape areas. Pins are grouped when they are close together on the Map. These cases are expected behavior.
