Excluding Fields From Searches
By default, all fields with searchable data types are included in global and list view searches of Job Lists and Resource Lists, and in Resource and Crew searches in the Calendar. Some fields used for informational purposes, such as Additional Info and Map Pin Tooltip fields, are excluded from searches by default. You can configure additional fields to be excluded from or included in global searches by configuring the Include in Global Search option in the relevant Field record.
The following data types are searchable:

To exclude fields from searches:
1. In
Max Designer, on the
Developer Tools (
) launchpad menu, click
Fields, and then in the list view, locate and click the field you want to configure.
2. On the record page, on the
Overview tab, clear the
Include in Global Search check box, and then in the top left corner, click
Save and Close(
).

3. On the
Development Actions (
) launchpad menu, click
Synchronize.
