Enabling Service Task Dependencies
In the Service Task Planning Calendar, existing Job Dependency functionality is supported for Service Task-to-Service Task dependencies within Work Orders. Dispatchers can visualize and manage Service Task dependencies with dependency arrows and scheduling validation. Users can drag and drop Service Tasks with dependencies defined in Salesforce Work Order records within the Service Task Planning Calendar.
To make this functionality available to users, you must enable it.
To enable Service Task dependencies:
• Follow the steps in Enabling the Dependent Jobs Calendar to enable the Enable Job & Service Task Dependency setting.

To make Service Task Dependency functionality available to users, you must also enable Work Plan and Service Task scheduling. For more information, see Enabling Work Plan and Service Task Scheduling.
