Enabling the Dependent Jobs Calendar
By default, the Dependent Jobs Calendar is disabled. To provide dispatcher access to this functionality, you must enable the feature. Otherwise, even if Dependency Management records are configured in Salesforce, dependent Jobs are handled as standard Jobs.
To enable the Dependent Jobs Calendar:
1. In Max Designer, on the Administration () launchpad menu, click Settings, and then in the list view, click Enable Job Dependency.
2. On the record page, select the Default Value check box, and then in the top left corner, click Save and Close ().
3. In Salesforce, on the ServiceMax Setup page, under the App Administration node, click Configuration Profiles, and then in the list view, in the Org-Wide Configuration Settings section, select the check box to the left of the active profile record and click Edit.
4. On the Edit Configuration Profile page, in the Enter Values for Settings section, in the Select Module list, click Dispatch Management, and then in the Select Submodule list, click Linx for ServicePower.
5. In the list of settings, select the check box to the left of the SET014 setting, and then click Edit.
6. In the Setting Values dialog box, in the Choose Option area, click True, and then click Save.
7. If your Service Board tenant is installed on a Salesforce org that has a release package version earlier than SVMXC 23.19110, on the Edit Configuration Profile page, in the Enter Settings for Values section, in the Select Module list, click Common, and then in the Selected Submodule list, click Global Settings.
8. In the list of settings, select the check box to the left of the GBL007 setting, and then click Edit.
9. In the Setting Values dialog box, in the Choose Option area, click True, and then click Save.
*
If the package version of the Salesforce org for your Service Board tenant is earlier than SVMXC 22.1, or if the SVMXSB package version is earlier than 22.19105, a warning message appears when you enable this setting to notify you that data sync must be manually configured for Job Dependency real-time sync to function properly. For more information, see Configuring Real-Time Sync for Job Dependencies in Service Board for Implementers.
