Configuring Scheduled Time Field Value Updates
When Jobs are assigned to Resources, Scheduled Time field values in Jobs are updated to match the Start Time field values set for the related Appointments. This behavior varies depending on the type of Appointment created, and whether the Use Earliest Appointment as Scheduled Time setting is disabled or enabled.
When single Appointments are created, Scheduled Time field values in Jobs are always set to align with Start Time field values in the related Appointments, and are updated to reflect Start Time field value updates.
When multiple Appointments are created, by default, Scheduled Time field values are set to the Start Time field values of the earliest non-final Primary Resource Appointments, and are updated when:
• New Primary Resource Appointments are created, or
• Start Time field values in Primary Resource Appointments are updated, or
• Status field values in Primary Resource Appointments are updated to Aborted, or
• Different Appointments are assigned as Primary Resource Appointments, or the reverse.
When you enable the Use Earliest Appointment as Scheduled Time setting, Scheduled Time field values are updated to the earliest Start Time field value of all related non-aborted Appointments, regardless of whether they are or are not Primary Resource Appointments, and are updated when:
• New Appointments are created, or
• Start Time field values in Appointments are updated, or
• Status field values in Appointments are updated to Aborted.
When all Appointments are canceled and the related Jobs are returned to initial status, Scheduled Time field values are set to null.
To configure Scheduled Time field value updates:
1. In
Max Admin, on the
User Management (
) launchpad menu, click
Settings, and then in the list view, click
Use Earliest Appointment as Scheduled Time.
2. On the record page, on the
Overview tab, select the
Default Value check box, and then in the top left corner, click
Save and Close (
).
