Configuring and Running Resource Qualification Summaries
Resource Qualification Summary functionality is enabled by default. The Update Resource Qualification Summary job runs every 24 hours, and you can also run the job manually. In addition, you can customize this functionality to meet your unique organizational needs by configuring the related Setting records if needed.
To configure and run Resource Qualification Summaries:
1. In Max Designer, on the Administration(
) launchpad menu, click Settings, and then in the list view, open and configure any of the following Setting records as follows.

Enable Full Resource Qualification Summary | Disabled by default. To enable, on the Overview tab, select the Default Value check box. |
Maximum Resource Qualification Summary Count | Default value is 20. To modify, on the Overview tab, in the Default Value field, enter a larger or smaller value. Maximum acceptable value is 100. |
Resource Skills Summary Field | Default value is Name. To modify, on the Overview tab, in the Default Value field, select any Textor String field of the Credential object. |
Thread Pool Size for Resource Summary | Default value is 3. To modify, on the Overview tab, in the Default Value field, enter a larger or smaller value. |
2. To manually run the Update Resource Qualification Summary system job to make newly added qualifications searchable in the Scheduler, in Max Admin, on the System Management (
) launchpad menu, click System Job, and then in the list view, click Update Resource Qualification Summary.
