About Initial Sync
During initial data sync from Salesforce to Service Board, selected records of the following object types are synchronized:
• Account
• Contact
• Dispatcher Access
• Expertise
• Group
• Installed Product
• Location
• Product
• Product Serviced
• Resource Preference
• Salesforce Event
• Service Team
• ServiceMax Event
• Skill
• Technician/Equipment
• Territory
• User
• Work Order
Only the fields needed for dispatch and scheduling are mapped. For example, for the Account, Contact, Location, Product, and Installed Product objects, only the Name/Full Name, lookup fields, and system fields are mapped. SOQL can be mapped to filter records synched to Service Board, and only SFDC users with the Dispatcher and System Administrator roles have access credentials for Service Board.
