About Date and Time Configuration
Default display formats for Timestamp, Date, and Time fields are defined in system settings and can be personalized at the user level in Application Settings. If no user-level settings are defined, display formats default to the active system setting. Timestamp, Date, and Time fields appear in the following locations in Service Board:
• Job Cards
• Edit Job, Edit Appointment, and Edit Event dialog boxes
• Appointment blocks, working hours, and shift availability on the Calendar.
• Show Route tooltips and Trip Data
At login, the Time Zones list on the Scheduler Calendar shows the local time zone on the current user's system. Timestamp fields on Job Cards and in the Edit Job dialog box use the local time zone on the current user's system. When users select a different time zone, all Appointment blocks, shift and availability indicators, and other items shown on the Scheduler Calendar re-render to the newly selected time zone. The Edit Event and Edit Appointment dialog boxes use the time zone selected in the Time Zones list.
For Crew Resources, Appointment creation and route display use the time zone specified for the assigned shift plan in the parent Crew record. For individual Crew Resources, the time zone specified for the associated shift plan is used. If no time zone information is available, the default time zone specified in the active System Setting record is used for Appointment creation, route display, and Crew Resources.
