Default display formats for Timestamp, Date, and Time fields are defined in System Settings and can be personalized at the user level in User Preferences. If no user-level settings are defined, display formats default to the active System Setting record.

At login, the local time zone appears on the current user's system. In Max Platform applications, if user-level default time zone settings are specified in the current user’s User Preferences record, Timestamp field values that are used for non-browser data display, such as in notifications, appear in the user’s preferred time zone. Max Platform web applications always use the browser time zone to render timestamp data.
