Monitoring Schedule Optimization
Monitoring Schedule Optimization ensures that dispatch plans are generated accurately and efficiently. It helps administrators and dispatchers verify that the optimization process runs successfully and produces expected outcomes based on valid input data.
Schedule Optimization relies heavily on the quality and completeness of operational data. Monitoring enables teams to identify inconsistencies early, reduce scheduling failures, and improve technician utilization and service performance.
Effective monitoring helps you:
Ensure that optimization jobs run successfully and produce valid schedules
Detect issues caused by incomplete or inaccurate data
Identify bottlenecks that impact technician assignment or SLA adherence
Maintain alignment between planning inputs and scheduling outcomes
Improve overall efficiency of dispatch operations
To achieve reliable results, verify the following before and during monitoring:
Complete data availability: Ensure that work orders, territories, technicians, and related records contain accurate and up-to-date information.
Valid dispatch processes: Confirm that dispatch processes are active, complete, and correctly configured.
Consistent data relationships: Validate that dependencies between objects (such as skills, durations, and territories) are correctly defined
*
Incorrect data in the related objects might cause issues while running Schedule Optimization jobs.
Data Quality Analysis
*
This is a Beta release.
The Data Quality Analysis feature helps administrators and dispatchers identify and resolve data issues that negatively affect scheduling outcomes.
It analyzes input data from batch and LTP jobs to assess data completeness and identify anomalies, and provides insights into missing skills, resource requirements, capacity, and objectives.
By providing actionable recommendations across areas like capacity vs demand, anomalies, and optimization objectives, the feature enables teams to correct root causes and improve the accuracy and efficiency of Schedule Optimization. For more information, see Data Quality Analysis.
