Configuring Technician Eligibility Rules
Technician eligibility rules define criteria for finding eligible technicians for work orders. The list of technicians found using Technician Eligibility Rules is used when Schedule Optimization assigns a technician to a work order or when the Advanced Technician Search feature in Dispatch Console matches a work order with eligible technicians.

You must enable the setting SET058 (Enable Technician Eligibility Rules) to assign a technician to a work order.
To set up technician eligibility rules, navigate to ServiceMax Setup > Scheduling & Optimization > Technician Eligibility Rules. The Technician Eligibility Rules screen is displayed, listing the currently available rules.

The Technician eligibility rule is dependent on Dispatch Process stamping, it is populated even when WO does not qualify unless WO qualify for Dispatch Process
In the Technician Eligibility Rules screen:
To edit an existing rule, check the Select check box against the rule and then click Edit Rule.
To delete an existing rule, check the Select check box against the rule and click Delete Rule.
