Configuring Business Rules
You must set up the following business rules that Schedule Optimization takes into consideration while scheduling work orders:
Territory Match Rules
Skill Match Rules
MTTS Rules
Technician Eligibility Rules
Business Rules Execution Criteria
When you apply a business rule to the work order and then update the business rule, the updated business rule is not applied to the work order again. This is to avoid recursive execution of the work order trigger, which impacts the Schedule Optimization performance.
Workaround: When you update a business rule and require it to be applied to the work order again, update a configured field value in the work order. This ensures that the business rule is applied to the work order again.
