Configuring the Skill Match Rule Sequence
Configure the order in which the rules must take precedence after you set up all the skill match rules.
To define the sequence in which the rules are processed:
1. Click Rule Sequence on the Skill Match Rules screen.
2. Arrange the rules as needed in the Sequence of Skill Match Rules list pop-up window.
 | • The first matching rule in the list is applied first. If you have hierarchical rules, you must place the most granular rules at the top. • It is important to set the rule sequence correctly so that the match rules are applied to appropriate work orders. The skill match rules are applied in the order, so if a work order qualifies for a skill match rule, the rest of the skill match rules in the sequence are not considered for the work order. This might lead to less-than-optimum skill set field update in the work order. |
