Product Structure for Administrators
You can define and manage the relationships between products and parts leveraging Product Structure. It can be used in the following ways currently.
• Product Structure can be embedded as a lightning component on any object with a direct or indirect reference to Product. This can serve as a digital parts catalogue for Call Center, Parts Planner and Technicians.
• It can be used in Work Plan execution to filter parts when Technicians are adding new recommended parts.
The Product Structure configuration page displays a default configuration. This is the only configuration currently supported.
To view and edit the
Product Structure configuration, navigate to > > . The
Product Structure configuration page is displayed. You can edit the configuration such as rename the configuration, add or remove the fields to display, and select an expression. For more information, see

A Service BOM can contain parts for multiple product variants in a single structure. This type of BOM is called an overloaded Service BOM (150% BOM). To filter this type of BOM, you can define Option Sets, Options, and Option Choices that allow end users to narrow the Product Structure tree to a specific configuration. For more information, see
