Geofence For Events
Android and iOS
Geofence notifications are based on the event location and Geo-boundaries are created around working areas.
Geofencing uses radio frequency identification, GPS, Wi-Fi, or cellular data to start a local notification on a device when technicians arrive at the appointment site. This allows technicians to update the appointment status.
The geofence can be built using the address from the work order by selecting "Work Order" as the location field in the geofence configurations. You can set up and control Geofence local notifications on the technician's device using this information.
You can also build geofence on events. For more details, see SFA Configuration for Local Notification.

The Go app does not support the Geofence feature if the Work Order site is not geocoded.
