Configuring Section Visibility in Checklist
The Section Visibility option in checklists allows you to configure a setting for the technicians so that the sections that do not qualify for the checklist exit criteria are disabled. This feature helps technicians not to access the sections that are not required to complete for the selected answers.
Use Case
When the technician starts a checklist in a tab, all the sections are visible by default. Even though the sections are configured with exit criteria, technicians can access the section directly from the left navigation pane. If the section or any question in the section is mandatory to complete, then the technician cannot proceed without answering the details. The Section Visibility configuration helps to disable the sections in the technician's device that do not qualify for the criteria.
Perform the following steps to enable the Section Visibility option in checklists.
1. Log in to the org with your valid credentials.
2. Navigate to ServiceMax Setup > Mobile > Mobile Console.The Mobile Console screen is displayed.
3. Click Group Settings Manager, then click Manage Configurations from the dropdown menu of a user profile.
4. Navigate to Checklist > General.
5. In the Visibility tab, click the Disable sections that are not required toggle to turn it on.
