Editing Checklists
You can edit or modify a checklist that is In Progress state. An In Progress checklist indicates you have started filling the checklist and have saved your answers, but have not yet submitted the checklist and will continue to work on it. When a checklist is in In Progress state, you can start a new instance of the same checklist only when the In progress checklist is submitted.
Click any checklist in In Progress state to navigate to the checklist form-fill screen.
Click the Previous or Next buttons to modify the answers to the already answered questions or complete the unanswered questions.
Click Submit to save the checklist locally. When you have submitted the checklist, the status of the checklist changes to Completed. The submitted checklist is synchronized to the server provided there is connectivity. If there is no connectivity it is saved locally and will be synchronized to the server in the subsequent data sync.
If there are any required questions indicated with an asterisk (*) in the checklist which is not answered, clicking Submit displays an error message and navigates you back to the question which is marked as mandatory. The question which is marked mandatory is highlighted in red.

On Full sync/Smart sync (if enabled), only submitted checklists are synced to the server.
On manual or scheduled data sync, all submitted checklists and In progress checklists are synced to the server. If any In progress checklist has been modified on both server and client, it will result in a sync conflict. To know more about sync conflicts and clearing the conflicts, refer to Sync Conflicts.
Checklists cannot be deleted. However, they are purged from the device when its related parent record is purged. To know more about purging refer to Purge Data.
