Marking Queue Items On Hold
You can mark queue items on hold to pause the progress of queue items without removing them from the workflow. Held items stay visible but inactive until resumed, helping manage dependencies or pending inputs. You can mark queue items on hold in the Kanban mode.
To mark queue items on hold in the Kanban mode:
1. Go to the
Depot Queue tab and select Kanban mode. For more information, see
Viewing Queue Items.
2. Select a depot location and a workstation. This displays the queue items in three column layouts:
◦ Awaiting Assignment
◦ Workstation Name
◦ On Hold
3. Select the queue item card for which you want to update the status.
4. Drag and drop the queue item card to On Hold. The Reason for Hold window opens.
5. Select an option from the following reasons:
◦ Awaiting Payment
◦ Awaiting RMA
◦ Customer Response Pending
◦ Customer reason
◦ Incomplete Documentation
◦ Quality Inspection Hold
◦ Scheduling Conflict
◦ Technical Review Needed
◦ Tooling Unavailable
◦ Waiting for Parts
◦ Warranty Verification
6. Click Apply.
The queue item is marked as held.

You can also put items on hold without adding a reason using Skip Reason. This puts queue items On Hold, but without a reason.

To remove queue items from on hold status:
1. Click the queue item card to remove from hold.
2. Drag and drop queue item card from the On Hold column to either Awaiting Assignment or Workstation column.
The selected queue item is removed from hold.
