Viewing and Managing Timesheets and Related Records
In the mobile app, the following standard SFM transactions are available to view the details of a Timesheet record selected from the standard SFM Search result screen:
View Timesheet: To view a Timesheet record and its associated Timesheet Daily Summary records.
View Timesheet Daily Summary: To view a Timesheet Daily Summary record and its associated Time Entry records.
In addition to auto-creation of Timesheet Daily Summary and Time Entry records, technicians can directly create, edit, or delete any existing records. This enables technicians to apply any required corrections. The following standard SFM transactions are available for this purpose:
Timesheet Daily Summary: To edit an existing Timesheet record and create, edit, or delete its related Timesheet Daily Summary records.
This SFM transaction is configured as the wizard step, Add Time Entry in the standard SFM wizard Timesheet Actions. The following screenshot shows the delivery of this standard SFM transaction. Total Hours in the header section is the sum of Total Hours of all the Timesheet Daily Summary records displayed in the lines section. This is calculated using ServiceMax Formula.
From each Timesheet Daily Summary record, create/edit/delete Time Entry records, by invoking the standard SFM transaction Create Timesheet Entries as a linked SFM process. The following screenshot shows the the linked SFM process:
Total Hours in the header section in this screen (for Timesheet Daily Summary record) is the sum of Total Hours of all the Time Entry records displayed in the lines section. This is calculated using ServiceMax Formula.
The following standard SFM transactions are available for use with mobile apps:
Edit Timesheet: To edit an existing Timesheet record.
Edit Timesheet Summary: To edit an existing Timesheet Daily Summary record, and manage its associated Time Entry records.
