Standard Objects Used in ServiceMax Core
This section lists the standard objects already supported in ServiceMax Core.

You may need additional Salesforce licenses to access and fully utilize the objects marked with * in the following table. Based on your organizational needs, consult with your Salesforce and ServiceMax representative to confirm license requirements for specific objects.

This object represents an individual account, which is an organization or person involved with your business (such as customers, competitors, and partners).
Installed Product
SVMXC__Installed_Product__c
This object represents one or a collection of product units delivered to a customer and installed at the customer’s location(s). Depending upon the tracking needs of an organization, installed products are tracked using a serial number, a lot/batch number, or simply by the product number. In ServiceMax, the Installed Product record drives entitlement, material movement, and service delivery activities.

Case
This object is used to manage cases for your organization, which are customer issues or problems.
Contact
Contact
This object is used to manage individuals who are associated with an Account in the organization.
Event
Event
Represents an event in the calendar. In the user interface, event and task records are collectively referred to as activities.
Lead*

This object represents prospects or companies that are interested in your product or service.
Opportunity*
Opportunity
This object represents an opportunity, which is a sale or pending deal.
Opportunity Product (Opportunity Line Item)*

This object represents an opportunity line item, which is a member of the list of Product2 products associated with an Opportunity.
Price Book (Pricebook2)

This object represents a price book that contains the list of products that your org sells.
Product (Product2)

This object represents a product that your company sells.

This object represents a quote, which is a record showing proposed prices for products and services.
Solution*
Solution
This object represents a detailed description of a customer issue and the resolution of that issue.
Task
Task
This object represents a business activity such as making a phone call or other to-do items. In the user interface, Task and Event records are collectively referred to as activities.
User
User
This object represents a user in your organization.
