Configure Data Lookup Rules
The figure below shows the Data Lookup Rules configuration screen which can be launched from ServiceMax Setup home page group Service Flow Manager.
ServiceMax Configuration settings for SFM are grouped under different modules and submodules. These are described in this section.
The salient aspects of Data Lookup Rules are as follows:
Sort Field in Matched Object determines the ascending order to be applied when Matched Object records are retrieved for matching against a target record. This in turn determines which Matched Object record will match, when there are two or more matched records.
‘Criteria to match’ allows value as well as target field match for matched object record fields. For lookup fields, Salesforce Id has to be specified. Date and Datetime fields can be matched with SFM Literals Today, Tomorrow, Yesterday, and Now.
Configure Field Maps with Field to Field and Field to Value mappings. If the configured field map includes Field to SFM Literals Today, Tomorrow, Yesterday, or Now, or Additional Mappings, they are also respected by the Data Lookup Rules Engine.
