Modules
A module is a logical grouping of related functionalities in ServiceMax. A module’s functionality may be implemented using both standard Salesforce objects and custom objects. Functionality in a module may be implemented using many technical components such as Visual force, Apex (Triggers & Classes), Flex, HTML5, and so on.
Standard modules defined by ServiceMax cover all the significant aspects of Field Service Management. You can typically use Modules configuration screen to
list the submodules under any specific module. If required, you can drill down from any specific submodule to see the list of configuration settings under that submodule.
If you extend ServiceMax to configure custom Modules with associated custom Submodules, Settings, and custom code, you
manage the modules using the Modules configuration screen, to create, edit, or delete any custom module. Standard modules cannot be edited or deleted.
