Salesforce events can have a maximum duration of 14 days. However, businesses with long-term projects require events longer than 14 days. To address this, ServiceMax provides the option to use the ServiceMax Event object instead of the Salesforce Event object. This custom object is a mirror of the Salesforce Event object, but with no restriction on the duration of events that can be created.
