Launching an SFM Transaction from the Wizard
You can launch SFM transactions from records such as Account, Work Order, Installed Product, and so on to perform business-specific actions. This streamlines business processes, enables faster execution, and improves data accuracy across field service operations. For example, you can use Create Work Order SFM transaction to create a Work Order directly from an Installed Product.
To launch an SFM transaction from the Wizard:
1. Open an object record. For example, Installed Product record.
2. In the Service Flow Wizard, click an SFM transaction. For example, Create Work Order.
You can perform the required actions defined in the SFM transaction to execute the business process.

To apply Salesforce Duplication Rule for SFM transactions, you must set SET013 (Module: SFM Transaction Manager; Submodule: SFM Transaction delivery Engine) to True. This allows the SFM Delivery engine to identify duplicate records, and either warn users or block them from creating them based on the configured rules. For more information, see Applying Salesforce Duplication Rule for SFM Transactions.
