Included Services for Product Service Lines
When entitling Product Service lines on a Work Order, you can select a specific included service from a Service Contract. Pricing calculations then follow that service assignment.
Included services extend beyond Work Order header-level entitlement to cover individual Product Service (PS) lines. Administrators and quality managers can select and apply services from a Service Contract during interactive entitlement for each PS line on a Work Order. The Service Contract must have included services defined, and the Work Order must have at least one Product Service line added as a Work Detail line. For more information, see Adding Included Services and Adding Work Details to a Word Order.

Included service–based entitlement applies to Service Contracts only. Warranties do not support included service–based entitlement.
To use this feature, set SET025: Enable New Interactive Entitlement Page to TRUE. This setting replaces the legacy entitlement interface with the new interactive entitlement page that supports included services for PS lines.
The Check Entitlement PS action on a Work Order opens the entitlement screen with matching warranties and Service Contracts. The Check Entitlement PS action is available out of the box and requires no additional configuration.
When you select a Service Contract, the Select Warranty/Contract modal displays the available warranties and contracts. Selecting the contract's radio button opens the Included Services window, which shows the services defined under that contract, how many units are allowed, and how many are already consumed. You can assign a different service to each PS line, which means each line can have its own coverage and billing. See the use cases below for examples.
The service assignment drives pricing. When you invoke Get Price on the Work Order debrief, it uses the coverage percentages from the assigned service to calculate the billable amount for parts, labor, and expense debrief lines. For more information, see Get Price.

Travel lines are not covered by service-based pricing.
The Billing Information section on the Work Detail page reflects the pricebook from the Service Contract. Every assignment is logged under Entitlement History on the Work Detail's Related tab with the service name, contract, and date. For more information, see Performing Included Service Entitlement for Product Service Lines.
Use Case
Avoiding multiple Work Orders when one visit covers differently entitled activities
Role: Field Service Technician / Service Coordinator
A Field Service Technician at Iniscope International is dispatched to Life Line hospital for a single visit on a Soniscape SSI 1000 that covers two activities: replacing the transducer and performing imaging calibration. Each activity is covered differently under Life Line's Platinum Service Plan. With included services available at the Product Service (PS) line level, the technician or service coordinator associates the appropriate included service from the Service Contract with each PS line on the same Work Order. This ensures that each PS line aligns with the correct coverage and billing rules, enabling accurate pricing without creating multiple Work Orders or relying on manual adjustments.
Preventing over-consumption of contracted included services
Role: Service Manager / Quality Manager
Life Line's Platinum Service Plan defines limits on how often specific included services can be consumed, for example, four calibration visits per year per Soniscape SSI 1000. During entitlement, the Service Manager at Iniscope International needs clear visibility into whether the calibration service is still available before assigning it to a PS line on a Work Order. By exposing included services and their availability during interactive entitlement, the team makes informed decisions at the time of assignment, stays aligned with the contract terms, and reduces the risk of billing disputes or exceeding contracted service limits.
