Associate Layouts
Along with the OOTB Standalone Edit type SFM Transaction available for Installed Product and Location, you can manually associate any other Standalone Edit type SFM Transaction configured for Installed Product or Location object. To associate the SFM Transaction to view Installed Product or Location record in the Installed Base App follow these steps:
1. Launch the Installed Base Setup page by clicking ServiceMax Setup > Installed Base, Preventive Maintenance and Field Change Order > Connected Field Service-Installed Base App Setup.
2. Select the required group profile from the Select a Profile: drop down which display all available group configuration profiles.
3. In the Installed Product section, select a layout for Installed Product from the Select SFM transaction to view and edit record drop down. By default, OOTB Standalone Edit type SFM Transaction for Installed Product is displayed. All other SFM Transactions configured for Installed Product object will be listed in the drop down.
4. Selected the desired SFM Transaction for Installed Product.
5. In the Location section, select a layout for Location from the Select SFM transaction to view and edit record dropdown. By default, OOTB Standalone Edit type SFM Transaction for Location is displayed. All other SFM Transactions configured for Location object will be listed in the drop down.
6. Selected the desired SFM Transaction for Location.
7. Click Save to save the configurations. Click Cancel to discard the configurations.
To associate a different SFM edit process, repeat the steps above and choose the required SFM edit process listed in step 3 and 7 for Installed Product and Location records respectively.
