Displaying of Events
• Events of technicians listed in the tree view are displayed in Scheduler only for the expanded teams/territories.
• Overlapping events are displayed with the shortest duration event on top and the longest duration event at the bottom, to enable access to each of the overlapping events. This functionality is hard-wired.
• Scheduler headers and AM/PM are displayed as follows:
◦ The Scheduler header displays the day and date in your language, using the long/short form depending on the available width per day (based on zoom level).
◦ Vertical sections AM and PM are displayed to indicate the first and second half of each day; this functionality and labels are hard-wired.
• The current time marker is displayed, as per your personalization choices in Configure Technician View > Calendar tab, using the configured color.
• The types of events displayed are:
◦ Work Order events
◦ Overnight stay events
◦ Events not associated with any object's record
◦ Events associated with records of other objects such as Account, Installed Product, and so on, if global configuration setting
SET062 is set to True
◦ Private events created in the Salesforce calendar
|
• For events associated with records of other objects, the associated record is not displayed.
• Users cannot edit or delete private events created by other users. They can only view the events in the calendar grid, with the subject as Busy and the hover text as Private Event with the date and time of the event.
|
• When you launch the Dispatch Console, the default date range for which you see the events is determined based on the following:
◦ Number of days configured by your ServiceMax admin, as the value of the group setting
SET001
◦ Starting with the date as you have personalized in Configure Technician View > Calendar tab
