Creating Expressions using Expression Builder for Technical Attributes
You can create an FCO search query using the Expression Builder section a fter selecting the Technical Attributes search.
The Expression Builder consists of the following elements:
• Allows you to define the search criteria for the search expression for a maximum of three search parenthetical lines.
• Allows you to include up to two search parameters or values for each search parenthetical line, each with an operator and value.
• Allows you to define more than one search parameter in a single search line using either AND or OR as the operator between the search parameters.
• Allows you to define multiple search lines using either AND or OR as the operator between the search lines.
To create a search expression for a single search parenthetical line, follow the steps:
1. Create the search type in the Define Search screen of the FCO Wizard, and use the steps from Creating an FCO Search with Technical Attributes.
2. In the Search Technical Attributes section, define the following field values:

Select Product
|
Select a product for which you would like to search for the technical attributes. Type a minimum of three characters in the Select Product search bar to see the results as a drop-down list.

Select Search Operator
|
Select the Operator to define the search criteria for the technical attribute.

Enter the search value for the technical attribute.

Select Field
|
Select the technical attribute field to perform the search from the Select Field drop-down list. The drop-down list displays only attribute values that are specific to the technical attributes template for the specific selected product.
OR
Type or copy and paste character(s) or number(s) to filter the Technical Attributes drop-down list and then choose a value from the filtered search results.

Select one of the available options AND or OR from the drop-down list.

3. Select either one of the following operator values from the drop-down list to add additional search parameters to the search line:

◦ OR After selecting the value, define the search criteria by following the steps provided in Step 2.

The operator values AND or OR allows you to include up to two search parameter values for each search parenthetical line. After selecting either AND or OR as the operator value between the two types of the search parenthetical line or row, the same operator is set as default for all the search parenthetical lines or rows.

4. Add new Technical Attributes search lines using one of the following search operators:

The following Search Technical Attributes screen is displayed:
5. Confirm your search by clicking Next: Confirm Search. Alternatively, you can add another Search Type section to the Define Search screen.
