When to Use Technical Attributes Feature
Technical Attributes should be used when you want to capture readings / current values of aspects that are specific to one or more, but not all, types of installed products you manage. It is particularly useful when you have a wide variety of products in your business and you need to capture different data specific to each of them. For example, you might want to capture the ink levels in the printer of an ultrasound scanner, helium level of an MRI scanner, and so on.
Additionally, using Technical Attributes feature allows you to refer to the previous value of specific attributes. Technicians can refer to these values to ensure that the installed product for which the data is being recorded is functioning correctly and well within the acceptable threshold limits.
