Defining the Product Service Campaign Search
The search components included in Product Service Campaigns allow you to use multiple methods to define a search expression, for the purpose of locating assets matching the search criteria.
The PSC search connects the campaign requirements with the impacted assets to produce Product Service Campaign Item records based on the search criteria. These are then used to generate delivery outputs such as work order, return order, or case.
You can define search criteria in the following ways:
Bulk-loaded asset criteria: This option allows you to upload a .csv file containing a set of asset field criteria. The bulk-loaded asset criteria is used to generate PSC result lines for the asset records matching the specified criteria.
For example, you can upload a .csv file containing serial numbers of 1000 assets that you want to recall. You can create a PSC that generates return orders for these assets.
Individual asset search criteria: You can create a search expression by defining the following search conditions:
Search based on asset records
Search based on technical attributes of an asset
